<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of efficiently using a recording medium and adaptively performing photography according to a motion of a subject. <P>SOLUTION: The motion of the subject is made to correspond to the level of voice to be uttered by the subject and continuous shooting photography is performed by setting photographic time before and after on the border of time when a release button is fully depressed by defining that the subject moves fiercely when the level of the voice to be uttered by the subject is equal to or more than a prescribed value.
