<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of easily drawing an object through a transparent object such as a lens. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus produces a transparent or translucent object 20 as a three-dimensional object and a target object 21 of a certain size within a virtual three-dimensional space according to image drawing data read from a storage medium. Based on the image drawing data, the image processing apparatus further produces a contracted object 22 that is sufficiently smaller than the target object 21 to be positioned within the target object 21. The image processing apparatus sets an order of precedence for drawing the transparent object 20, the target object 21, and the contracted object 22 produced within the virtual three-dimensional space. Next, the image processing apparatus produces a positioned object 23 by positioning the contracted object 22 within the target object 21.
