<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive composite type gas insulated switchgear in which the time, as well as the cost, required for replacing one failed contact can be minimized. <P>SOLUTION: The composite type gas insulated switchgear 30 is provided, in a single metal container 34, with an insulator container 41 containing a circuit breaker contact 42 and a plurality of insulator containers 35 and 36 containing disconnector contacts 37 and 38, respectively. The metal container 34 is held by an insulating support container 45 mounted on a grounding structure 44. Interior of the insulator containers 35, 36 and 41 and the metal container 34 held by the insulating support container 45 are sealed hermetically by insulating gas to form a plurality of independent gas sections 39, 40, 43 and 49 which are coupled individually with a gas monitor 50 through insulating hoses or pipes 51, 52, 53 and 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
