PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of realizing a desirable ventilating condition even in the case of driving a ventilating fan with a direct current motor using permanent magnets and facilitated in miniaturization. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner capable of ventilating the indoor air with the ventilating fan 36 to be driven by the direct current motor, a control board 20, on which an air conditioning control element for controlling air conditioning based on a control instruction and a room temperature detection value is mounted, and a motor board 30, on which a ventilation control element for controlling drive of the ventilating fan is mounted and to which the ventilating fan driving power is supplied from the control board, are separately arranged. Resistors R1 and R2 are provided in each of the control board and the motor board in series to a route for supplying the driving power to the direct current motor freely to be switched between the short-circuit condition and the connecting condition.
