摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a fuel cell which enables to easily form an organic-inorganic hybrid electrolyte film of high quality with an excellent methanol permeation preventing property. SOLUTION: The electrodes 12, 14 for the fuel cell is provided with a conductive porous supporter 22 and a porous coating material 24 for coating a surface of the conductive porous supporter 22. An electrolyte film 13 with a proton conductive polymer 13b filled in a pore of a porus inorganic base material 13a is formed on a surface of the porous coating material 24. The porous coating material 24 is formed by curing a liquid composition containing carbon particles of an average particle diameter 200-400 nm and thermosetting resin (typically resole resin) in a temperature region of not higher than 300°C. A compounding ratio of the carbon particles and thermosetting resin may be 0.5-1.5 pts.mass thermosetting resin to 10 pts.mass carbon particles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
