PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing furnace of a plasma display panel and a manufacturing method of the plasma display panel using the sealing furnace for efficiently conducting a degassing process and sealing process of a PDP. SOLUTION: The sealing furnace of the PDP is structured by a vacuum furnace and an atmospheric furnace, and a plurality of furnace chambers are provided on the respective vacuum furnace and atmospheric furnace. Each of the furnace chambers is provided with six stages of conveyers 7 between supporting plates 6, and each of the conveyers 7 is provided with seven rollers 8. A setter 13 rolls on and is in contact with the roller 8, and one to three panel structures 11 are mounted on the setter 13. The panel structure 11 is structured by superimposing a front surface substrate and a rear surface substrate of the PEP through seal frit. Six sets of the one setter 13 and the one to three panel structures 11 mounted on the setter 13 are arranged in the vertical direction, and are simultaneously moved between each of the furnace chambers.
