PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining the concentration of at least one type of assay in a given physiological sample, and to provide its system and method. SOLUTION: The device comprises at least one type of calibrating labels and a given substrate having at least one test region and containing various types of reagent compositions for determining the concentration of the given assay in the sample. The system comprises the given device and a given instrument constructed to determine the concentration of the at least one type of assay in the given sample to be supplied to the device. The method comprises (1) a step of supplying the given device, (2) a step of joining the device to the given instrument, (3) a step of illuminating the at least one type of calibrating label with a light, (4) a step of detecting the light from the at least one type of the calibrating labels, and (5) a step of calibrating the instrument in accordance with the at least one type of the calibrating labels.
