PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm a cylinder number to which an operation command is given. SOLUTION: In a test method for checking whether operation of a gas supply electromagnetic valve of each cylinder in a multiple cylinder engine is appropriately performed in a prescribed order or not, operation of the gas supply electromagnetic valve of the cylinder of first ignition order is performed by using the pattern distinguishable from others, such as two continuous operation (operation commands S1 + S1').
