PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification method suitable for a small scale by which wastes such as biomass, organic wastes, an RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) and an RPF (Recycle Plastics Fuel) are gasified and material-recycled as a gas for fuel. SOLUTION: The wastes including cokes mixed therewith are charged into a rotary kiln 1 having a core pipe 3 of a furnace and a beater 5 for stirring the interior of the core pipe 3 of the furnace. The wastes are gasified while being stirred at a gasification part 3a of the core pipe 3 of the furnace. Tar and/or char formed from the wastes by thermal decomposition is gasified at a gas-reforming part 3b at the downstream side from the gasification part 3a of the core pipe 3 of the furnace.
