PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installation to a vehicle, fuel efficiency and silence by reducing weight of a device for transmitting driving force. SOLUTION: An outer case 10a forming the device for transmitting driving force is formed of aluminum alloy. Hardness is increased by engaging an iron cylindrical stepped ring 11c or a cylindrical ring 11d with a sliding part against a seal member 15 at a support of the device, and wear and damage at the sliding part made of the aluminum alloy are prevented.
