PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head in which unaltered ink ejection can be sustained without being affected by an adjacent ejection channel. SOLUTION: A plurality of ink pressure chambers are arranged contiguously to each other in matrix on a cavity plate. Two groove through parts formed, respectively, in a first manifold plate, a second manifold plate and a third manifold plate 500 define two manifold channels 2. The two manifold channels 2 communicate with all through holes made in the upper or lower half section of a supply plate in the longitudinal direction and thereby communicate with all through holes made in the upper or lower half section of the cavity supply plate in the longitudinal direction.
