PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head in which stability is enhanced when ink is ejected by enlarging a thin plate part for absorbing vibration thereby absorbing vibration and pressure variation occurring in ink. SOLUTION: The ink jet head comprises a first channel unit 20 and a second channel unit 40. The first channel unit 20 is provided with an inlet 20a and can eject ink from a nozzle through a first ink channel. The second channel unit 40 is provided with one or more ink supply openings 41a, an ink delivery opening 44a communicating with the inlet 20a, and a second ink channel 42c for introducing ink supplied from the ink supply opening 41 to the ink delivery opening 44a and has a multilayer structure of a plurality of flat plates 41-44. At least one flat plate 43 out of the plurality of flat plates is a damper flat plate having a thin plate part 43f facing the second ink channel 42c, and an air chamber 43e is provided on the side opposite to the second ink channel 42c while holding the thin plate part 43f between.
