PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging device capable of correcting a phase rotation effect and imaging true acoustic impedance change in a living body. SOLUTION: Ultrasonic wave signals returned from an inspection object to a search unit 1 are converted to electric signals by the search unit 1 and sent through a transmission / reception changeover switch group 5 to a complex reception beam former 20 and dynamic focusing for adjusting a delay time corresponding to the timing of reception is executed. By using the output of the beam former 20 which outputs the beams of a real part and an imaginary part, in a phase rotation correction part 21, phase rotation due to attenuation depending on a frequency is corrected or a phase rotation portion in the azimuth direction of the beam is corrected or both of them are corrected. After the correction of the phase rotation, in an acoustic impedance change amount computing part 22, a derivative relating to the space position of acoustic impedance is obtained, and filtered signals are displayed by an image at a display part 24 through a scanning converter 23.
