The proposed optical keyboard contains optical radiation formers, photodetectors, keys, optical switches, fiber-optic lightguides, and a coding grating. The optical switches, fiber-optic lightguides, and the coding grating are installed in the sealedcavity under keys. Each optical switch is optically coupled with the corresponding photodetector through the coding grating and the fiber-optic lightguide. Each key has a permanent magnet that interacts with the magnetic material of the coating applied to the sheath of the corresponding fiber-optic lightguide coupling the optical switch with the photodetector. The output signals of the photodetectors are used as the output signals of the keyboard.
