<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display medium for recording/displaying its intrinsic information which is opacified by a low melting-point metallic thin film layer with concealability so as to make the intrinsic information invisible from the protecting layer side and visible on account of the loss of the concealability of a thermally molten part of the low melting-point metallic thin film layer by heating, and a validity judgement method by which the alteration/forgery of information in the display medium can be easily recognized. <P>SOLUTION: The information display medium has at least a printed information layer, the low melting-point metallic thin film layer and a protecting layer, formed on a base material. The printed information layer contains a luminescent material which emits a light of a visible range by an external stimulation by a specific wavelength excepting the visible range. The protecting layer contains a material which absorbs or cuts off the external stimulation which causes the luminescent material to emit the light of the visible range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
