<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method and picture display device enabling, even with a small display section, picture display having a wide viewing angle and stereoscopic effects with a sense of presence/reality, and also enabling visually natural display of not only a natural image but also a 3DCG. <P>SOLUTION: In the image display method, the inner face of the display section 10 is used as a plurality of display faces 11a, 12a, 13a to display an image over the plurality of display faces. As the display method, what type of image display is to be conducted when viewed from a specific viewpoint is determined by calculation, and the images are displayed on each display face. For example, when the image to be displayed is a 3DCG image and displayed on two adjacent display faces 11a, 12a of the plurality of display faces, the image is divided in correspondence with the display faces 11a, 12a.
