INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, DEVICE AND METHOD, PEDOMETER, AND PROGRAM FOR EXECUTING METHOD IN COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from leaving or missing a pedometer and to give the motivation for walking to the user for a long time.

SOLUTION: This pedometer 100 is an adaptor used in a state of being inserted into an external connection terminal of a cellular phone 101, and the walking data inside (time and amount of user's walking) is displayed on a display of the cellular phone 101, when a specific key is depressed. The data is transmitted to a server 102 by utilizing an Internet connecting function of the cellular phone 101 in connecting with the cellular phone 101 or once a day at a predetermined time. The data accumulated in the server 102 can be browsed from the cellular phone 101 as a Web page on the Internet. The user can confirm how much and what time the user walks today (number of steps, distance and consumed calorie) at all times with the ranking in the top rank among all of users.
