<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing service and a server for obtaining information on a divided area of a map by operating a user terminal device connectable to a communication network to be connected to the server. <P>SOLUTION: This service system includes a user terminal device connected to an information server through the Internet, and an information providing service user accesses to the information server by operating the user terminal device. An information item to be obtained is selected in an item field 101, whereby according to the selected information, a map displayed on a map field 102 is painted and distinguished in different colors.
