DOOR LOCK DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device for a vehicle which can prevent the unintended opening of a door at the occurrence of an impact force to the vehicle.

SOLUTION: A main control part switches the mode of the main control part to a mode of an abnormality 1 depending on the state of the impact of the vehicle, which is detected by an impact detecting sensor in a normal mode, and the on/off state of an ignition switch. The main control part switches the mode of the main control part to a mode of an abnormality 2 when a time which is measured by an impact detecting timer elapses for two seconds or longer. The main control part switches the mode of the main control part to a mode of an abnormality 3 when the a time which is measured by the impact detecting timer elapses for ten seconds or longer. The modes of the main control part each determine whether an operation for opening a door from the outside or inside of the vehicle and an operation for changing the locked/unlocked state of the door are permitted or not.
