PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less expensive and more lightweight reflective display material having whiter appearance and a broader color gamut.

SOLUTION: The image forming element includes an image layer and a base material, wherein the base material includes at least one stretched sheet laminated on a core sheet and the core sheet comprises a void-containing composite material of a polyolefin and a polyester having a density of <0.7 g/cc.
