PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk-shaped recording medium whose authenticity can be quickly judged. SOLUTION: This disk-shaped recording medium is constituted in such a manner that a noncontact IC chip 30 capable of transmitting second information necessary for reproducing first information recorded on the authentic disk-shaped recording medium is secured to the disk-shaped recording medium 10 itself (or to a case in which the disk-shaped recording medium is housed).
