PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent metal impurities, which are contained in the thick-walled part of a fluoroplastic container, from eluting into the chemical liquid put in the container. SOLUTION: A container having a two-layered structure is manufactured from a fluoroplastic inert to the chemical liquid as a whole by rotary molding. The outer layer 31 of the container is a confining layer for confining the residual polishing material due to the polishing treatment of a mold 5 for rotary molding and metal impurities such as rust or the like produced in the mold 5 in the thick-walled region of the container. The inner layer 32 thereof is a shield layer obstructing the contact of the outer layer 31 with the chemical liquid to be housed in the container to prevent metal impurities from eluting in the chemical liquid to be housed in the container.
