PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously perform post-processing after joining and inspection of joined condition by using an actual object. SOLUTION: With the start of cutting after joining, a computer monitors machining load such as an axial torque of a tool shaft, a power waveform and feed speed in step S1, and discriminate the varying range obtained from the monitoring in comparison with the normal values in step S2. If the varying range is found large in step S2, the object is judged in step S5 as falling of a valve seat member due to a defect in joining.
