PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time up to the sure operation start of equipment in initialization processing. SOLUTION: This equipment control system has a sub-central processing unit connected to first equipment to control the first equipment, a main central processing unit connected to second equipment longer than the first equipment in initialization processing time to control the second equipment. When an operation instruction is inputted from an operation part to the main control processing unit through the sub-control processing unit, the content of the operation instruction to the main central processing unit is temporarily stored in a storage means connected to the sub-central processing unit until the initialization processing of the main central processing unit is ended, and the transmission of content of the operation instruction to the main central processing unit is prohibited, whereby the time up to the operation start of equipment in initialization processing is shortened.
