PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic cap which is effective for preventing a cut edge generated in a cutting line from being touched on a lip, a finger or the like in a normal use even when a weakened portion to connect a cap body to a TE band in a post-working manner is formed, excellent in safety and easily molded. SOLUTION: The plastic cap comprises a top plate portion 2, and a skirt portion 3 hanging from the top plate portion, and further comprises a tamper-evident band 5 integrated with a lower end of the skirt portion via a breakable weakened portion 17. In the cap, the breakable weakened portion is formed by cutting in a post-working manner. The cutting line 16 of the weakened portion is located outside an outer circumferential surface 13 to be formed of the cap, and a round corner portion 18 is formed in a vicinity of the cutting line 16.
