PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely release the automatic steering control using other releasing conditions than an exclusive switching operation in an automatic steering device for a vehicle to perform traffic lane inside holding travel. SOLUTION: When an operation unit 4 determines that at least one of releasing conditions of the automatic steering control is satisfied based on the vehicle state related to the automatic steering releasing conditions detected by an automatic steering releasing condition related vehicle state detection unit 3 after the automatic steering control is started, a notification unit (an indicator lamp 8 or a buzzer 9) to perform a predetermined notification on the release of the automatic steering control to a driver as a release preparation stage is energized, the relative position between the lane detected by a lane detection unit 1 and the vehicle is obtained until a predetermined release execution condition is satisfied, the target traffic lane inside position is determined, and a steering actuator 5 is steering-controlled based on the target traffic lane inside position.
