PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device which enables parking while avoiding any contact with a scotch, and reduces troublesomeness for an occupant even when the vehicle position is not deliberately corrected when the scotch to be brought into contact with a vehicle body is detected when parking the vehicle. SOLUTION: The height of a scotch present in a parking position is detected (Step S3), and it is determined whether or not a vehicle body is brought into contact with the detected scotch (Step S4).
