PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration apparatus whose operation can be made continuous by eliminating the clogging of a bellow-shaped filter without interrupting the filtration. SOLUTION: This filtration apparatus is provided with a cylindrical or disk-shaped filter body 1 for performing filtration between the inside and outside of the outer peripheral portion, an inflow passage 21 disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the body 1 and an outflow passage communicated with the inside of the body 1. The bellow-shaped filter 18 rugged in the radial direction is adopted as the body 1. Many filtration flow passages 17 each having an opening 17a on the outer peripheral surface are arranged in the filter 18 by dividing the filter 18 by arranging partition plates 15 radially. A driving mechanism is installed for rotating the filter 18 intermittently correspondingly to the passage 17-formed angle. A backwashing/flowing-out passage 23 is installed which is faced to any of the openings 17a at the intermittently stopped position so that the outflow C smaller than the outflow B of the treated liquid from the inside of the filter 18 is made to flow out.
