PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher having improved threshing performance, maintained by moving a threshing cylinder and a waste straw carrier to a nonworking position, by keeping a proper handing space between the rear of a threshing cylinder and the front of a dust discharge cylinder. SOLUTION: The threshing cylinder 5 and a waste straw carrier 62 are formed to be moved to a nonworking position by unlocking a lock device 32 positioned near a dividing plane between a transporting side plate 26 and a fixing side plate 29 of a thresher 1 main body side. And the rear side of the threshing cylinder 5 and the front side of the dust discharging cylinder 92 are set to face at a longitudinally separating part, between a threshing net 6 and the fixing side plate 29, by locking the lock device 32. On the other hand, the side face of the dust discharging cylinder 92 front side is formed to be opened when lock of the lock device 32 is released and the threshing cylinder 5 is moved to the nonworking position.
