<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, equipment and a program for CPR (curved-planar reformation) image display processing of a ramification field which enable expression of a plurality of branches of the ramification field in one image and also enable accurate expression of the portion of intersection or overlapping of the branches. <P>SOLUTION: An image space of CT [computerized tomography] image data (volume data) is cut along the center line of two branching blood vessels 10a and 10b and cut curved surfaces thus obtained are made planar to determine cut planes. On each cut plane, protective regions (strips) S1 and S2 each having a prescribed width are set along the blood vessels 10a and 10b. By using the strips S1 and S2, the regions are so demarcated exclusively as to protect the individual blood vessels 10a and 10b, and thereby masks M1-M4 are prepared. The masks M1 and M2, or M3 and M4, are selected so that the blood vessel selected by a mouse is displayed on this side. Prescribed regions are taken out from the cut planes corresponding thereto and are composed in one image 20a on the basis of the masks M1 and M2, or in one image 20b on the basis of the masks M3 and M4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
