<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hyperthermophilic archaebacteria viable at low salt concentrations in considering the fact that the culture of conventional archaebacteria requires much labor thus leading to unfavorableness of the limited application. <P>SOLUTION: The hyperthermophilic archaebacteria, belonging to the genus including IRCS 99138( FERM P-19031 ), is viable at a temperature of higher than 70°C and at a salt concentration of 0.2 wt.% or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
