<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing plate original which can attain the compatibility of plate wear with the prevention of staining during printing without impairing image formability. <P>SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate original is formed by disposing a recording layer containing (A) a radical polymerizable monomer having the structure expressed by the following general formula (I), and (B) a polymerization initiator on a support: L<SB>a</SB>-M-(A-H)<SB>b</SB>. In the general formula (1), L denotes a radical polymerizable group. M is a linking group and denotes an organic group of (a+b) valence; (A-H) denotes an acid group of 5.5 to 13 in an acid dissociation constant (pKa) having a protonic hydrogen atom; (a) denotes an integer from 2 to 10, and (b) denotes an integer from 1 to 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
