<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably attract even very small parts in a work attraction device. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with an attraction iron core 11 which is made of magnetic stainless and has a cylindrical small diameter distal end part 11a in front and a large diameter main body part 11b at a rear side. The large diameter main body part 11b is arranged at the inside of an iron core accommodation hole 15a of a bobbin 15 wound with a coil 14 thereon. A fixed iron core 16 is arranged to surround upper and lower surfaces and front surface of the bobbin 15. When energizing to the coil 14, a line of magnetic force generated around the bobbin 15 is concentrated on a magnetic path formed by the fixed iron core 16, a stopper holder 10 and the attraction iron core 11. By passing of the magnetic flux, the attraction iron core 11 is effectively magnetized. If a workpiece is provided with a magnetic material member, however very small the workpiece may be, the workpiece can be stably attracted by magnetic force of the magnetized attraction iron core 11.
