<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf course control system capable of providing precise approach information from the playing position of each player to a pin in real time by providing golf data etc. in a club house. <P>SOLUTION: The golf course control system 1 comprises a golf course control apparatus 2, databases 3 to 6, a data display device 71 mounted on a golf cart 7, and a portable radio communication terminal 8. The golf course control apparatus 2 comprises a control terminal 21 and a data display terminal 22. On the display 31 of the data display terminal 22, a variety of golf course data can be displayed according to key operation. When data is requested from the communication terminal 8, the control terminal 21 detects the position of the communication terminal 8 based on information from a GPS system 9, and transmits the approach information from the position of a player carrying with the terminal to the pin at the golf course to the communication terminal 8.
