PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment never attaching image data with low usability at a receiver side to an e-mail. SOLUTION: It is determined whether image data show a two-dimensional image having no parallax or a three-dimensional image having parallax, and the image data showing the three-dimensional image are removed from image data to be transmitted attached with the e-mail. Information for the dimensional attribute of an image is added to image data, and the dimension of the image shown by the image data is determined not by the image data themselves but the added information.
