PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise preventive structure of a joint for a bridge in which a durable soundproof effect is expectable with a soundproof material held into a required position without being influenced by the expansion of the joint. SOLUTION: This joint for the bridge is provided with a plurality of support beams with both end parts supported between girder end parts or between a girder end part and an abutment at spaces in a right-angled direction to a bridge axis; a plurality of middle beams 4 supported on the support beams at spaces in a bridge axis direction movably in the same direction; and cut-off rubber 21 disposed to cover a clearance between the adjacent middle beams 4, 4. The cut-off rubber 21 is shaped to form a bag-like space extending in the right-angled direction to the bridge axis between the middle beams 4, 4 when the space is narrowed by the approach of two adjacent middle beams (a), and the soundproof material 23 elastically deformable following the shape change of the cut-off rubber 21 is stored in the bag-like space 22.
