PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation wall for a built-up area, which has a comparatively simple structure, in which a sound insulating panel can be fixed onto a support surely and which has even an excellent appearance and can harmonize with the landscape of the periphery of the built-up area excellently. SOLUTION: A plurality of the supports 2 are disposed in upright at prescribed intervals along a road. The sound insulating panels 3 are installed on both sides of the supports 2A in an intermediate section through brackets 28 for the panels 3 and the brackets 38A for the supports in the intermediate section respectively. The brackets 28 are formed in a T-shape in a plan view, composed of fixing sections 28A and connecting sections 28B and fixed onto the side faces of the panels 3. The brackets 38A have first holding sections 38A-1, second holding sections 38A-2, third holding sections 38A-3 and cover fixing sections 38A-4, and two brackets 38A are secured to the supports 2A so as to be opposed before and behind. The supports 2A and the connecting sections 28B are held by clamping the second and third holding sections 38A-2 and 38A-3 by bolts 34 and nuts 40, and the sound insulating panels 3 are supported.
