PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out automatic, rapid and accurate collection, generation, registration and response of response information to a new response request message from an application. SOLUTION: This response information management system comprises a message comparing part 13 for determining whether the response request message from the application is new; a mail transmitting-receiving part 14 for transmitting a request mail 31 to a controller based on a destination in a mail destination table 22 of a recovery management database 20 when the message is new, and receiving a response mail 32 from the controller at the same time; and a message response part 15 for generating response information corresponding to the response request message based on the received response mail 32, registering the response information in the recovery management database 20 correspondingly to the response request message and issuing the response information to a message issuing part 11. The new response request message is transmitted to the prescribed controller by mail, and the response contents are received by mail to automatically carry out the generation, registration and response of the response information to the new response request message.
