PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven allowing a user to easily operate/check an operation part for cooking by improving a casing and a front face upper part of a door for facilitating observation of the inside of a cooking room during or before/after cooking, and at the same time, effectively interrupting electromagnetic waves while taking thickness and width of the door into consideration. SOLUTION: This microwave oven is constructed of the casing 110 having a configuration tilted backward in the front face part and having an operation part 104 formed in the tilted part, the cooking room 120 formed inside the casing 110 for cooking food, the door 130 journaled to one side of the casing 110 freely oscillationally and tilted in association with the casing 110 for opening/closing the front face of the cooking room 120.
