PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel combustion heater capable of continuously releasing a fixed quantity of minus ion into a room by immediately releasing the static electricity charged in a casing, even in generation of static electricity by the contact of an electrically charged human body with the casing, the cleaning of a hot water discharge port or the like. SOLUTION: This liquid fuel combustion heater has a discharge type minus ion generator 20 provided in the casing 1. A conductive means 25 having a contact resistance smaller than a color steel plate is provided on the outer hull bottom part of the casing 1. The conductive means 25 is electrically connected to a metallic structure within the casing 1 or on the outer hull of the casing 1, and the casing 1 is set so that the conductive means 25 is in contact with the setting floor surface.
