PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device capable of increasing the degree of freedom of connection irrespective of the use of a square shaft. SOLUTION: A sensor attachment A is the connection device for connecting a square shaft 1 of square shape in cross section to a bracket Br. The sensor attachment A comprises an insert hole 4a in which the square shaft 1 is fixedly inserted and a fixed part 4b connected to the bracket Br. The insert hole 4a is formed so that the square shaft 1 can be inserted therein at circumferential intervals of 45°, and comprises a hooking part 4c hooked to the square shaft 1 so that the square shaft 1 inserted into the insert hole 4a is not rotated about the axis thereof.
