VACUUM EVAPORATION TYPE DISTILLATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum evaporation type distillation apparatus capable of obtaining distilled water of high purity by avording not only the lowering of the heat transfer capacity of the distillation apparatus due to the effect of a gaseous component and volatile impurities contained in raw water but also the re-dissolution of those components into distilled water. SOLUTION: The vacuum evaporation type distillation apparatus has an evaporation device 11 constituted by connecting a plurality of evaporators to a multi-effect system and is constituted so that raw water 25 is heated under vacuum by a heat source 23 to be evaporated and steam is condensed to form distilled water 26 and concentrated water 27. This apparatus is provided with a degassing chamber 10 for removing the dissolved gas and volatile impurities in the raw water 25 by the heat exchange of the heat source 23 and the raw water 25, a condenser 12 for condensing the steam evaporated in the evaporators of the device 11 and a vacuum means 51 for discharging the dissolved gas and volatile impurities from the chamber 10. The heat source 23 is supplied to the uppermost stage evaporator of the evaporation device 11 and the dissolved gas and volatile impurities from the chamber 10 are thermally exchanged in the evaporators of the device 11 and cooled to be lowered in temperature before discharged to the outside by the vacuum means 51.
