A sliding bearing (1) comprises an upper case (3) serving as a first bearing body having an annular surface (2) of synthetic resin, particularly polyacetal resin, a second bearing body (5) superposed on the upper case (3) for rotation around an axis (O) and having an annular surface (4) of synthetic resin opposed to the annular surface (2), and an annular sheet (6) of synthetic resin interposed between the two annular surfaces (2, 4) and slidably abutting against the upper case (3) and/or the bearing body (5).
