A pyrazole derivative which exerts an excellent effect of inhibiting human 1,5-anhydroglucitol/fructose/mannose transporters and, therefore, is useful as a preventive, a progress inhibitor or a remedy for a disease caused by the over intake of at least one saccharide selected from among glucose, fructose and mannose or a disease caused by hyperglycemia (diabetic complication, diabetes, etc.), its pharmacologically acceptable salt, prodrugs thereof, a medicinal composition containing the same, its medicinal use and an intermediate in the production thereof.
