PURPOSE: A method for rejecting unwanted calls of a mobile communication terminal is provided to register unwanted telephone numbers in a rejected list of a user terminal, and to intercept calls generated by the registered telephone numbers, thereby improving user convenience. CONSTITUTION: If a call is made in a user terminal(S101), a system compares a rejected number list stored in a terminal database with a current originating telephone number(S102). If the originating number is included in the rejected number list, the system perfectly intercepts the originating call, or turns on a lamp only(S103,S104). If the originating number is not included in the rejected number list, the system registers the originating number by calling a rejected number menu after terminating the call. If the call is neither included in a telephone directory nor in the list, the system inquires about whether to register the call in the telephone directory or the list(S105-S107), and immediately adds the originating number(S108).
