PURPOSE: A device for reducing the noise of a motor for a vacuum cleaner is provided to disturb the flow of discharged air and to reduce air flow noise by installing a porous noise reducing member at the opening of a motor housing. CONSTITUTION: In a motor for a vacuum cleaner, a noise reducing member(30) is installed between a guide vane(22) and a stator(11). The noise reducing member disturbs the flow of discharged air and reduces air flow noise. The noise reducing member is made of porous heat-resistant materials.
