PURPOSE: A digital signal process unit for multi-channel and a method for processing a digital signal are provided to enhance a stereo effect by using a reverberation phenomenon of audio signals. CONSTITUTION: A digital signal process unit for multi-channel includes a plurality of speaker units(190), an output circuit(180), a signal processor(102), a reverberator(104), a two-dimensional positioning processor(106), and a vocal canceler(108). The speaker units(190) output audio signals for multi-channel. The output circuit(180) outputs the audio signals to the speaker units. The signal processor(102) processes digital audio signals and outputs the processed signals to the speaker units. The reverberator(104) generates a stereo effect by using a reverberation phenomenon of audio signals between the speaker units and a listener. The two-dimensional positioning processor(106) prevents a delay phenomenon of sound according to a position of the listener by controlling a delay sampling number according to an interval between the speaker units and the listener. The vocal canceler(108) removes unnecessary elements from the audio signals and compensates the removed necessary elements.
