PURPOSE: A multifunctional anion generator is provided to generate a great amount of pure anions at low-voltage consumption and thus, to suppress ozone generation, and to ease usage of the ion generator through an access to a computer. CONSTITUTION: The multifunctional anion generator includes a line filter(21) to cutoff high-voltage backflow to a computer(10) or noise generation; a constant-voltage generator(22) for generating 5-6V of DC when AC of the computer(10) is inputted to the anion generator(20) through a USB code; a high-voltage generator(23) for converting the DC to a high voltage; a anion generating unit(24) for generating anions with an aid of the high-voltage generator(23); and an illuminator(25) for displaying the state of the anion generating unit(24).
