A resin compsn. comprises 100 pts.wt. a polyethylene resin (A) and 0.5-5000 pts.wt. long-chain branched ethylene-3-20C alpha -olefin random copolymer (B), in which (A) is characterised by having: (a) MFR of 0.01-150 g/10 mins.; and (b) density of 0.901-0.970 g/cm3; and (B) by (a) density of not > 0.900 g/cm3, (b) [eta ] in decane at 135[deg]C of 0.3-3.0 dl/g, (c) Tg of not > -50[deg]C, (d) crystallinity by X-ray diffraction of not > 40%, (e) Mw/Mn by GPC of not > 3.0, (f) B value by 13C-NMR of 1.0-1.4, and (g) [geta *] being 0.2-0.95, and such compsn. also has the characteristics that satisfy the equation:B = POE/(2PO.PE) PE, PO = mol.% of the ethylene component and that of alpha -olefin component, respectively; POE = ratio of total dyad chain number to ethylene-alpha -olefin inter-linked chain number. Also claimed are the following: (i) a flexible resin compsn. comprising 100 pts.wt. a polyethylene resin (A-X) and 50-5000 pts.wt. long-chain branched ethylene-3-20C alpha -olefin random copolymer (B-Y), in which (A-X) is characterised by (a) MFR of 3-150 g/10 mins., and (b) density of 0.901-0.970 g/cm3; (B-Y) as (B); and (ii) an ethylene-alpha -olefin copolymer resin compsn. contg. 100 pts.wt. polyethylene resin (A-alpha ) and 5-67 pts.wt. long-chain branched ethylene-alpha -olefin random copolymer (B-alpha ), in which (A-alpha ) comprises ethylene-4-20C alpha -olefin as in linear branched ethylene-alpha -olefin copolymer (A-O) and characterised by having (a) density of 0.901-0.940 g/cm3, (b) MFR of 0.01-20 g/10 mins; and (B-alpha ) a long-chain branched ethylene-alpha -olefin random copolymer as characterised by (a) density of 0.860-0.900 g/cm3, (b) MFR of 0.01-20 g/10 mins, and the rest as (B). |
