Large three-phase transformer set is assembled from three single-phase transformers. The control of the secondary current for the electric furnace is effected by connecting the three primary windings, either in star, or in delta. Each single-phase transformer has, therefore, in addition to leading-out terminals for the start of the primary winding and for its end, another terminal for a change-over lead which is connected with a built-in star-delta switch. |
